Mixed building in Geneva

Nowadays, the neighborhood of «La Praille» is subject to a large urban reflection. Located on a former industrial area of Geneva, it is an object of research to explore new ways of conceiving the city.

This research in the Laboratory of urban architecture (LAURE) led by the Professor Andrea Bassi, dealt with the integration of a project in an existing urban context by developing the plot through a (or set of) building(s) and public facilities. In this modern city, diversity and density are the major issues.

As part of this research, we developed a prefabricated concrete in order to meet the demands of the economy.
